Designing for Teams, Designing for Touch

5:50 - 6:15pm on Sunday, February 8 2009 in Four Seasons, Park Ballroom C

This lightning round talk will focus on how to utilize the ‘outside mind’ of product development teams to lead and create well designed applications that use new UI paradigms around touch when lacking a full design team. At many points in a corporate career, designers face being under resourced. Hear how to overcome these issues through using the full product team while staying true to your design vision and principles. As an example, this talk will address our teams' process for creating applications focusing on those new touch UI behaviors for a mass market. It will discuss how we came to utilize the true unique properties of touch through team collaboration to develop compelling applications that take advantage of a Natural User Interface (NUI).
